Advice on start-up
Many people who are contemplating starting a business are daunted by the different regulations and would like advice on the best business structure for them such as sole-trader status or setting up a company and the best way to manage their tax affairs.
We can meet up with you to discuss the options, and give advice on the specific structure appropriate to you, and your circumstances and other advice and information as required.
There is no obligation to continue with us as our clients following the meeting.
The fee for this meeting is £165 for an hour’s time and a follow up email of the points discussed.
Please contact us for more details of this service.
Fees
The monthly fee will depend on the tier of services required as per our sole trader plans. The fee may be adjusted further depending on additional factors such as of book keeping services, the number of transactions, the quality of record keeping and the amount of work we will need to do to prepare your accounts and/or tax return. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
We will issue a quote based on your specific requirements so that the costs of our services are clear before you commit to going ahead. We will revise the fee after the first three months to ensure it is appropriate for your requirements. The fee will also be revised if the services required change, and each year normally just after year-end.
Book keeping
For our basic accountancy plan we can prepare accounts using electronic work papers or spreadsheets. We will advise on what is required at the start of the engagement.
For other plans we provide a QuickBooks online software subscription. But if a client is already using their own online book keeping software we are very happy to use that with them instead. We can adjust the plan subscription price to suit the client needs.
The client relationship
Our clients value the support and help we provide. We care about you and your business, we know it can be tough sometimes and there can be such a lot to deal with. We hope that you will value our professional relationship. We think that this aspect is what makes us as accountants a little bit different and unique.
We also make time to undergo training, do research and we stay up to date with accounting and tax developments so that we can keep our clients updated on relevant changes as necessary. This is not just a requirement for our professional qualification but a real desire to make sure that we offer the best advice possible. This advice is always tailored to suit you and your business..
